Soprano Angelica de la Riva, classic guitarrist Nilko Andreas and violist Firmian Lermer will interpret works penned by Federico Garcia Lorca, Schubert, Teleman and Ponce in the inaugural concert of the Progressive Language Institute.

Studies in Munich, Salzburg and Vienna at the University of Music with Prof. Thomas Kakuska. Chamber Music Studies with Members of the Alban Berg Quartet, Walter Levin (LaSalle Quartet) and G. Kurtág (Amsterdam). Since 1994 member of Camerata Academica Salzburg. Since 1999 solist together with musicians like Végh, Perahia, Schiff, Norrington, Kavakos, Kremer, Mutter, etc. 1997 Foundation of Hyperion Ensembles. Concerts in Europe, USA, South America. Concerts as Solist and with Chamber Music Ensembles at Festivals (e.g. Lockenhaus). Since 1991 organisation of “Wildthurner Kunsttage”.
Nilko Andreas, Guitarist
Classical Guitarist Nilko Andreas Guarin has been praised as an “electrifying performer for his powerful stage presence and spontaneity that grows irresistible”. Since his Carnegie hall debut in 2009 Nilko has been captivating audiences, as a soloist and chamber musician. Awarded several awards including "The Recognition Award" by the city of New York for his contributions to the Arts. Born in Colombia Nilko Andreas has great interest for the composers of Latin America, constantly commissioning and premiering new works. Upcoming engagements include concerts with Soprano Angelica de la Riva, Aranjuez Concerto with Shenzhen Symphonic Orchestra and Carnegie Hall during the 2012 season.
