Educational Excellence Awards will grant Angelica de la Riva the 2022 Music and Culture Award. Other awardees in this edition are Literature Nobel Prize Mario Vargas Llosa
Angelica de la Riva is a renowned Brazilian soprano, with Cuban-Spanish roots, who has developed most of her professional career in New York, where she lived for 15 years and studied at the most prestigious schools (The Julliard School and Mannes School of Music). Angelica is currently an ambassador for NJCU where she teaches History of Music: African Music in the Americas.
